Love takes flight | Stanford Memorial Church

From high above, Thomas Fogarty Winery in Woodside, CA looks like an enchanted place nestled in a dreamy landscape. Eddie has always dreamed of becoming a pilot, so it’s only logical that his wedding day would reflect his vision of flight, from paper airplane décor to customized cuff links to the light-blue color of the bridesmaids’ dresses, reminiscent of a clear summer sky. “In-flight” menus and passport props made for entertaining pictures.

Eddie and Joanna said their vows at Stanford Memorial Church and booked the Rosewood Sand Hill Hotel in Menlo Park, but on their special day, they lived in a fantasy world with their heads in the clouds. With their hearts as light as air, surrounded by friends and family, they bound themselves together in matrimony. Hand-in-hand, they walked down a path lined by loved ones waving sparkler sticks, two planes on a runway with guiding lights to pave the way home.

Humans are creatures bound to the earth; we do not come with feathered wings to lift our weighty bodies to the clouds, nor can we feel the carefree buoyancy of winds beneath us. Two things can bring us closer to the heavens—one being the man-made invention of planes; the second, a transcendent force, pure and intangible, when our hearts are lucky enough to be touched by true love.

Stanford Memorial Church with Zihong & Gavan

Zihong and Gavan was meant for each other, the moment they met at work at Google. It was only a matter of time. They took one of our photography classes and fell in love with our work. Being a part of YouTube does make one lean more towards cinematography than photography and here's our gift to them for their romantic journey in life together.

Stanford Memorial Church & Palo Alto Golf Club | Janet & Mark

Mark practices his first dance with his groomsmen in the Four Seasons Hotel of Palo Alto / Silicon Valley while Janet practices her walk up the stairs in the prestigious Stanford Memorial Church in Palo Alto. Their beautiful first dance in the Palo Alto Golf Club is a small part to what makes this wedding so elegant.

The wedding photos in the Four Seasons, Stanford Memorial Church and Palo Alto Golf Club are a real match to Mark & Janet's style. We chose a cinematic musical piece with Scottish intonation and blend to showcase Mark and his cool British accent (when they are entering the church). Check out their cinema!

What we found endearing is how Mark holds Janet's Victoria Secret's bag proudly as he exits the ceremony with her into their Rolls Royce.
